A well-established organisation is seeking an experienced Front End Developer to join their technology team on a permanent basis. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple projects, contributing to the development and ongoing maintenance of modern, responsive, and accessible web applications. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment and play a key role in delivering high-quality frontend solutions from concept through to production. The Role Reporting to a Technical Team Lead, you will focus on building, enhancing, and maintaining frontend components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The role requires someone who is organised, calm under pressure, and comfortable balancing competing priorities in a delivery-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Provide best-practice UI/UX advice and feedback on designs and frontend implementations Develop and maintain frontend components in line with internal standards and processes using Angular Translate static designs into fully functional web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Create new designs or enhance existing ones as required by project teams Build responsive and inclusive user interfaces that render correctly across desktop, tablet, and mobile Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend and backend components Work closely with team members and stakeholders across multiple projects Provide effort estimates for frontend and design-related work Participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprints, and retrospectives Manage competing priorities in a complex delivery environment Skills & Experience Required 5 years' experience in web development with a strong focus on frontend development Strong knowledge of semantic HTML and accessibility best practices Strong understanding of modern CSS, including responsive layouts, custom properties, and native CSS nesting Experience developing maintainable, secure, and scalable frontend solutions Strong experience with modern JavaScript and TypeScript Familiarity with contemporary frontend frameworks such as Angular Proficiency with modern development tools including Visual Studio Code and browser DevTools Working knowledge of Git, including branching strategies and code reviews using platforms such as GitHub or GitLab Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team Strong communication skills and the ability to estimate and manage delivery timelines Why Apply?
