The Role
As Senior Finance Manager - Reporting & Policies, you'll own the Group's external reporting to the ASX, ASIC, and JV partners, while setting and applying accounting policies across major transactions and operations. This is a hands‐on, strategic role where your technical expertise, leadership, and stakeholder influence will make a real difference. This position would ideally be suited to a Big 4 or Mid‐tier second mover from a property background or second mover.
What You'll Do
* Lead external and regulatory financial reporting, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant results.
* Manage year‐end and half‐year reporting cycles and external audits with confidence.
* Prepare clear, insightful Board and Audit Committee papers that drive smart business decisions.
* Shape accounting policies and provide expert guidance on complex transactions.
* Review investment proposals and advise on accounting impacts to support business growth.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen governance and reporting efficiency.
* Lead, mentor, and inspire a high‐performing finance team.
What We're Looking For
* CA/CPA‐qualified with extensive financial accounting and ASX reporting experience
* Big 4 first or second mover with a strong property background
* Strong leadership skills with proven ability to influence senior stakeholders
* Deep technical knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and Group reporting
* Analytical, proactive, and able to manage multiple complex projects
* Confident communicator who thrives in a dynamic, fast‐paced environment
