What you’ll do at Jamf:
At Jamf, we empower people to be their best selves and do their best work. The Distribution Channel Manager, APAC is responsible for building and delivering local distribution strategies which drive incremental revenue through new and existing distribution partners. They bring broad expertise in distribution, as well as experience across different regions in APAC. This role is hybrid, with the expectation to be in the office 3 days per week. We are only able to accept applications from candidates based in Sydney with permanent residency or citizenship to live and work in Sydney.
What you can expect to do in this role
- Collaborate with the Regional Sales and the Channel managers on building and executing Jamf strategy for Distribution.
- Onboard and develop new distributors and grow Jamf distribution partnerships and success with existing distributors.
- Support leaders on executing a global Distribution program in APAC.
- Enable and support the Channel Marketing team with partner activities and creating relevant content relating to Distribution.
- Develop targeted campaigns, success metrics and investment cases with assigned Distribution partners to grow channel-sourced opportunities.
- Attain assigned sales targets and other key measures of success.
- Provide leadership and direct support to regional Channel Account Manager(s) in relation to growing Distribution partnerships.
- Develop and execute business plans with each Distribution partner in APAC.
- Collaborate with global programs to support the expansion of Distribution as a route-to-market in APAC.
- Provide a program structure that controls sub-distribution across different Jamf partners.
- Identify end customer business and technical needs relative to Jamf features and communicate opportunities for improvement to Product Management.
- Attend appropriate events and tradeshows to engage partner sellers and communicate the Jamf value to their customers and prospects.
- Create measurable and timely objectives, strategies and campaigns to achieve desired business outcomes, in alignment with the partner and Jamf objectives.
- Foster a workplace aligned with Jamf values and standards; promote respect, innovation and creativity.
- Travel up to 30% (including international trips) to meet with distribution partners and participate in industry events.
What we are looking for
- 4-year/Bachelors Degree preferred; a combination of relevant experience and education may be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant channel/industry experience in software sales (Required).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience within the Distribution channel (Required).
- Proven track record in sales with quota achievement (Required).
- Deep understanding of partner ecosystems and distribution routes to market (Required).
- Experience working in the Apple channel ecosystem (preferred).
- Working experience with Salesforce (preferred).
- Ability to effectively present business and technical concepts to all levels of a partner or end-customer organization.
- Appreciation of financial concepts and key success measures to understand the partners business and justify investments in development.
- Ability to build relationships across all organizational levels: Partners, Apple, Jamf.
- Mastery of industry trends around Apple, mobility, security and related fields.
- Ability to lead partner conversations to establish Jamfs value proposition relative to partners and Apples priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness to take on new challenges and lead by example.
