About FVLSAC
Family Violence Legal Service Aboriginal Corporation (SA) – FVLSAC – is a community legal service assisting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander victims‑survivors of family violence and/or sexual assault in the state of South Australia. We work with families and communities, providing face to face and/or telephone legal advice to our clients. We have offices in Port Augusta, Port Lincoln and Ceduna and provide services to these areas and surrounding communities. FVLSAC also provides client support services and community legal education.
Job Overview
FVLSAC is seeking a highly motivated, organised and positive individual to fill the position of Receptionist at our Ceduna office. The role is accountable to the Corporate Services Manager for the provision of reception services to clients, community members and other stakeholders, including receptionist duties and administration support services.
Responsibilities
* Answer phones and provide a professional telephone manner
* Receive current and prospective clients and other stakeholders
* Perform receptionist duties and administrative support services as directed
* Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate a caring nature in all interactions
* Ensure punctuality and neat presentation at all times
* Assist with reception duties and general office tasks as required
* Support the Corporate Services Manager where directed
Qualifications
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Proficient computer skills and familiarity with common office software
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality in sensitive environments
* Positive, motivated attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Experience in a reception or administrative role is desirable but not essential
