Full Time, Ongoing Contract

80 hours per fortnight - inclusive of ADO accrual

Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services.

Position

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organised Human Resources Administration Officer to join our People and Culture team at Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW). This key front‐line role supports the daily operations of the HR team and delivers outstanding administrative and customer service support across the workforce. If you're passionate about people, processes, and delivering exceptional service, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

* First point of contact for HR‐related enquiries, providing professional and timely assistance to staff.
* Ensure employment documentation is accurate and complete for seamless onboarding.
* Support monthly induction sessions and train new employees.
* Manage key compliance checks such as Working With Children, Police Checks, NDIS Screening and AHPRA registrations.
* Monitor the HR mailbox, coordinate meetings and events.
* Process invoices, resignations and other administrative paperwork.
* Supervise the People and Culture Administration Support Officer.

Qualifications

* Strong understanding of mandatory workforce requirements and health‐sector regulations.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to problem‐solve in a fast‐paced environment.
* Experience in HR administration or a related field is preferred.
