**About this role**
Reporting to the Purchasing Supervisor, the focus of this role is responsible for the delivery of procurement for the Customer Group in purchasing and expediting of goods and services associated with the business.
You will be responsible for purchasing and supplying materials, parts, equipment and services following established purchasing policies and procedures and optimizes price, delivery and terms.
You will identify and request quotes from suppliers based on reliability and cost effectivity.You will ensure all goods and services are ordered and received according to specification, the correct costing of materials, and that Customer Group needs are consistently met in regard to the provision of purchasing services
**About you**
Professional studies in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Statistics or equivalent
Procurement experience, preferably in Mining operating environment
Intermediate to advanced SAP-MM skillsIntermediate to advanced skills using MS Office Suite - Word, Excel, (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas), PowerPoint and Outlook
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to communicate confidently with management and business stakeholders
Ability to work within a team environment, positively contributing to the group
A strong problem solver with comprehensive analytical skills
