Role and Responsibilities
As a Junior School Physical Education teacher at Toorak College, you will:
* Promote physical fitness, healthy habits, and teamwork among students through a diverse range of sports and activities.
* Develop and implement engaging physical education programs, fostering a positive learning environment and inspiring students to embrace an active and healthy lifestyle.
* Plan, deliver, and assess the Physical Education Curriculum for students of all abilities.
* Create lesson plans that meet educational standards and adapt them to individual student needs.
* Ensure the safety and well‐being of all students during physical activities.
* Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate physical education with broader school goals.
About You
You are passionate about Physical Education and adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities. Experience teaching international students within the mainstream classroom is considered advantageous.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Degree qualified in Primary (Physical Education) Education.
* VIT registration essential.
* Demonstrated experience and passion for teaching Physical Education in a Junior School setting.
* Excellent communication skills and strong ability to connect with and motivate students.
* Proven capacity for innovative, flexible, and research‐based teaching practice.
