Senior Medical Leadership Role
We are seeking a Senior Medical Leader to shape and lead the clinical governance framework across one of Queensland's largest and most progressive health services.
This key strategic advisor and medical leader will drive excellence in safety, quality, and innovation in patient care, reporting to the Chief Medical Officer.
About the Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior medical professional to provide professional and operational leadership to the Clinical Governance Service.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a high-performing framework that upholds best practice, patient safety, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead strategy development and respond to emerging safety issues
* Mentor medical leaders and advise the Executive and Board on clinical performance, accreditation, and governance outcomes
* Provide professional and operational leadership to the Clinical Governance Service
Candidate Requirements
* A medical degree registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Fellowship of RACMA or another relevant Australian specialist medical college
* Significant experience in clinical governance, safety, and health system performance
