We currently have an opportunity available for a Truck Driver with MR Drivers Licence or above for work with a road maintenance team based in the Hay area.
This role will involve working full time hours of work for an initial period until the end of the end of February, with potential of further work available for good quality workers. An attractive hourly pay rate is being offered, including overtime penalty rates and allowances for additional hours of work.
Duties will include driving MR trucks, doing daily inspections and transporting crew members as required. You will perform routine maintenance activities, attend call outs and support with road repairs.
This role also involves manual labouring with a roadworks crew, where you will beusing power tools and machines as required.
Successful Applicants will need;
* current WHS White Card - essential
* Worker On Foot card - or willingness to obtain (online link able to be provided for successful applicant)
* MR driver licence - highly favourable
* traffic control tickets - or willingness to obtain
* plant operating experience desirable but not essential
* previous experience with road construction or maintenance will be highly regarded
* fit for manual work tasks as required
* willingness to undertake police record check
