Casual Duty Manager Position
Foodworks East Maitland is small family owned supermarket that prides itself on providing the local community with a great range of fresh food and every day essentials along with outstanding customer service.
We are currently recruiting for a Casual Duty Manager Position, up to 25 hours week. Weekday availability and 1 weekend per month.
The successful applicants will be well supported by a hard working team, as they learn all aspects of the store including grocery, produce, deli, bakery dairy & freezer. This fast paced role will involve ordering, quality control and have a strong focus on growing our sales in these areas.
The successful applicant will have the ability to excel at the following criteria:
* Ability to maintain the highest of store standards.
* Ability to work across grocery, produce, perishable and deli departments including accurate ordering and management of stock levels.
* Ability to receive and process weekly grocery deliveries
* Ability to provide outstanding levels of customers service and to build rapport with the local community.
* Ability to manage a small hard-working team of staff.
* Ability to maintain highest levels of cleanliness across the store.
* Ability to achieve sales growth.
* Sound IT and computer skills, a good knowledge and understanding of retail computer technology (desired)
* Knowledge and understanding of OH&S procedure and policies, food safety requirements and an excellent understanding of the Supermarket Industry in general.
* Minimum of 6 months food retail experience is required.
