Description About the role Operating remotely in the Northern NSW region and reporting to the Livestock Manager, based in Roma Qld, this primary purpose of this role is to ensure timely supply of livestock to ACC Properties and Feedlots in line with the required volume, specifications, quality and pricing schedules. Attend livestock saleyards / events Build and maintain mutually beneficial, long-term partnerships with vendors and suppliers based on transparency, trust and loyalty Proactively engage producers, agents and vendors and provide timely, honest and constructive feedback to vendors on cattle performance Maintain an informed awareness about industry trends, seasonal influences and risk to livestock supply Ensure livestock suppliers uphold ACC’s standards relating to quality and animal welfare Liaison with livestock transport and logistics providers Prompt and accurate data capture and internal reporting Ensure accurate and efficient processing of livestock transactions, approvals, documentation and compliance records Identify and share improvement opportunities in strategic sourcing and industry partnerships About you We are looking for a well-established, industry professional with demonstrated success in a similar capacity (either agency or buying) who can hit the ground running!
