We're looking for an experienced Casual Gatehouse Security Officer (Level 4) to join a busy TGE Logistics site, helping keep vehicles, people, and freight moving safely and efficiently.
This is a fast‐paced logistics environment where you'll be the first point of contact at the gatehouse, playing a key role in site access, safety, and security.

About The Role
You'll be working in a 24/7 gatehouse environment, supporting day‐to‐day operations and ensuring only authorised people and vehicles access the site. It's a hands‐on role where attention to detail, clear communication, and a strong safety mindset are essential.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Controlling site access and preventing unauthorised entry
* Conducting vehicle and bag inspections
* Completing accurate, real‐time data entry into live national Excel spreadsheets (driver and vehicle information)
* Communicating frequently with TGE operations via two‐way radio and phone systems
* Conducting site inductions for drivers and visitors as required
* Monitoring CCTV, access control, and electronic surveillance systems
* Operating access control systems (issuing cards, locking/unlocking doors, auditing access)
* Recording incidents, breaches, and safety concerns
* Assisting with on‐the‐job training of other officers
* Performing duties across Levels 1–3 when required (without deskilling)
Work Environment – TGE Site
* Modern, fully heated and air‐conditioned gatehouse
* High‐risk logistics environment with continuous heavy vehicle movement
* Physically active role with frequent walking between gatehouse and driveways
* Breaks taken at post when practical (officers cannot leave post)
* Free, secure on‐site parking
Mandatory Requirements
* Current Security Licence – Cert II
* Current First Aid Certificate
* Ability to work independently and unsupervised
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Physically fit and safety focused
* Driver's Licence
