The purpose of the project role is to support the implementation, management and evaluation of the project, by coordinating stakeholders, managing project timelines, drafting communications, and monitoring the achievement and impacts of implementation.
The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Nurse Project Manager to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
* Develop and maintain advanced level technical and operational knowledge of systems, software and various current state workflows.
* Provide professional leadership and ensure that the systems are used to optimise the outcomes of the project.
* Develop strong working relationships with all internal and external vendor stakeholders.
* Provide leadership and act as a clinical resource, technical expert, and advisor to registered nurses and members of the multi-disciplinary team.
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
* Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
* Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia
* Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
* Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
* Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
* Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
* Temporary part time (38 hours per fortnight)
* Base salary ranging from $68.86 - $74.76 per hour

The Pharmacy Service provides medication management services across the Gold Coast Hospital Health Services (HHS), through inpatient units, outpatient clinics and in all facilities where medicines are being utilised for the care of patients. This includes Gold Coast University and Robina Hospitals, the Southport and Robina Health Precincts, Tugun Satellite Health Service, Numinbah Correctional Centre as well as various community services.
