We are currently seeking an experienced National Accounts Manager to manage and nurture our relationships with key national retailers.
Role Overview
As a Sourcing Manager Assistant, you will support our sourcing team in managing relationships with Chinese factories, ensuring the procurement of high-quality lighting products at competitive prices. You will be responsible for liaising with suppliers, negotiating terms, tracking orders, and ensuring that products are delivered on time and meet our quality standards. Proficiency in Mandarin is a must, as you'll be communicating directly with Chinese suppliers daily.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the sourcing team in identifying, evaluating, and maintaining relationships with Chinese lighting manufacturers and suppliers.
Communicate and negotiate with suppliers in Mandarin, ensuring smooth and effective coordination.
Monitor and track production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of products.
Handle administrative tasks such as preparing purchase orders, updating pricing, and maintaining supplier records.
Ensure that products meet quality standards and align with customer expectations by conducting regular follow-ups with suppliers.
Assist in resolving any supply chain issues, including quality control, shipping delays, and customs clearance.
Provide support in managing inventory and stock levels to ensure timely replenishment.
Collaborate with internal teams such as logistics, sales, and product development to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications & Experience
Fluent in Mandarin (both written and spoken) is essential.
Previous experience in a sourcing or procurement role, preferably in the lighting or manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of international supply chains, particularly with Chinese suppliers.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and experience with procurement software is a plus.
A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for detail.
