Key Responsibilities
* Conceiving and producing detailed lateral and vertical development designs
* Owning and producing area and level design notes
* Liaising with key stakeholders to deliver designs aligned to the mine plan and schedule
* Providing input into short-, medium- and long-term design and scheduling activities
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date design databases reflecting changes in priorities and plans
About you
You are an experienced underground mine planning professional with a strong focus on accuracy, constructability and delivery. You take pride in producing high-quality work with minimal rework, work effectively within a small and collaborative team, and engage confidently with stakeholders across planning and operations.
You bring:
* Degree in Mine Engineer or similar
* Underground mine planning experience
* Experience across core mine planning activities
* Mine planning software experience, with Deswik advantageous
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* A team-focused approach with the ability to develop toward broader scheduling responsibilities
