Neurosurgery Trainee Role
The role involves working in a dynamic and innovative clinical environment, with access to some of the most modern facilities and equipment in Sydney.
This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing department and work alongside 6 neurosurgeons who service a wide range of cranial and spinal pathologies.
The unaccredited trainee provides a pivotal support and communications role enabling effective care and continuity between the ward, theatre, ICU and consultants.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with clinical assessments, management advice and care of emergency admissions
* Work with inpatients as required and directed
* Participate in operative procedures and assist with patient admission and discharge processes
Requirements:
* Hold a medical degree (MBBS or equivalent)
* Be registrable with AHPRA
* Demonstrated clinical practice as a registered medical practitioner for a minimum of two years
* Progress towards career goals in Neurosurgery
