We are seeking an experienced part-time marketing and communications professional who can bring fresh approaches to our ambitious communication objectives, focused on promoting teaching as a highly desirable career, recruiting teachers for employment in state schools across Queensland and positioning the Department of Education as an employer of choice for teaching and non-teaching careers.
This is a new job share opportunity within our team, for up to 36 hours per fortnight (0.5 FTE), working in collaboration with our part-time Principal Communication Officer and our growing team.

- Digital communicator: thrives on creating and producing high quality, on brand, engaging content for different audiences and channels, including organic and paid media.
- Content and communication obsessed: developing and implementing targeted, proactive, and engaging communications in various formats, including eDMs, blogs/articles, website, social media and printed collateral to help attract, engage and recruit the people our organisation needs.
- Audience focused: uses data, insights and best practice to inform communication campaigns, enhance audience segmentation and engagement, and maximise business outcomes.
