Job Overview
The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and organized work environment as a Loader Operator at our transfer station in Kembla Grange.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Controlling intake and managing truck flow for efficient tipping operations
2. Pushing up materials for stockpile management and loading them into open-topped semi-trailers
3. Completing dockets and administrative paperwork
4. Maintaining a clean and tidy facility through general housekeeping and effective communication with drivers and site visitors
Additionally, the ideal candidate will be required to participate in site upkeep and maintenance activities, ensuring the facility remains organized and compliant with safety standards. To succeed in this role, applicants must be available to work 5 days a week and occasional weekends, possess a minimum of 2 years loader operator experience, and demonstrate genuine interest in a long-term permanent opportunity.
Our desired candidate will exhibit a strong work ethic, be physically fit and healthy, and willing to undergo drug and alcohol screening and a criminal history check. A deep understanding and commitment to adhering to safety and WHS standards are essential for this position.
