Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Contracts Administrator to oversee the administration of contracts and ensure contractual terms are met.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage subcontracts from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
* Draft, review, and negotiate subcontracts, taking into account legal requirements.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure subcontract terms are clear and compliant.
* Identify potential risks and propose effective mitigation strategies.
* Conduct risk assessments to evaluate the impact of contractual terms on the organization.
* Maintain strong working relationships with vendors and suppliers.
* Monitor vendor performance and address non-compliance issues.
* Lead contract negotiations to achieve favourable terms for the organization.
* Collaborate with legal counsel as needed to finalize agreements.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in contract administration or a similar role, focusing on post-award management.
* Strong understanding of contract law and its application in a business setting.
* In-depth knowledge of contract law, procurement processes, and project management.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills.
* Ability to analyse complex contractual issues and provide practical solutions.
