The Shop:
Country Pride Sausages is an award-winning family owned butcher's shop located in Lyneham ACT.
We are committed to serving the highest quality meats and providing exceptional customer service.
The Role:
We're seeking a reliable and experienced Butcher to join our team, either full-time or part-time.
As a member of our team:
· You will work closely with our staff to learn about the successful operation of our butcher shop
· Work in both commercial and retail butchery
· Ensure that meat recipes are followed properly during preparation
· Undertake general duties assigned by your supervisor
· Cut, trim and shape standard cuts of meat to size
· Assemble and operate mincers, grinders, mixers, smokers, and sausage forming machines
· Filling and tying our specialised flavoured sausages
Skills you will need:

· Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
· Ability to take direction and follow instructions
· Ability to work on your own and as a part of a team
Availability:
* Must be available to work Saturday mornings
* Some weekday evenings (finishing at 6pm)
* Flexible to work in a rotating roster
