Job Title: Concrete Maintenance Labourer
Permanent Full Time (2 positions available) | 9 day fortnight
$68,586 pa (includes industry allowance and uniform allowance) + super (level 4)
76 hour fortnight
Locations: Narangba Depot & Burpengary Depot (please note, the Burpengary position will soon move to Narangba)
Join the City of Moreton Bay team to maintain our concrete infrastructure. This hands-on role involves performing general labouring tasks related to concrete construction and maintenance projects.
Your Responsibilities:
Perform concrete construction, maintenance, and general labouring tasks efficiently.
Maintain positive relationships with staff and the public.
Support various crews across the region to ensure consistent service delivery.
Conduct maintenance inspections on civil infrastructure.
Follow safety guidelines and properly use and maintain equipment, including personal protective gear.
As a team member, you'll work in diverse settings, helping uphold the quality and reliability of local infrastructure.
About You:
Ideally, you have recent experience in concrete works, especially in placing, levelling, and finishing concrete to specifications. You should possess:
Strong concrete knowledge and physical capability to perform manual tasks safely.
Hands-on experience in a manual role.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team.
Additionally, successful candidates must hold:
A current truck license (minimum Medium Rigid).
A Construction Induction Card.
