**Job Opportunity: Demi Chef**
We are seeking a passionate and motivated individual to join our dynamic kitchen brigade. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Assisting in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in line with hotel standards;
* Working across various sections of the kitchen as required;
* Maintaining cleanliness, food hygiene, and safety standards at all times;
* Supporting senior chefs in daily operations including inventory and stock rotation;
* Ensuring consistency and quality in every dish served;
* Contributing to a positive kitchen environment and helping train junior staff where needed.
To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate:
* Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel or high-volume kitchen;
* Excellent technical knowledge with experience in a variety of cooking techniques and styles;
* Formal culinary training or relevant qualifications preferred;
* Ability to work a variety of shifts across a 7-day rotating roster including mornings, evenings, and weekends;
* Strong communication and organisational skills and a team-oriented attitude;
* Passion for food and a desire to learn and grow;
* Demonstrated ability to maintain food safety standards and understanding of HACCP.
