Senior Dietitian – Intensive Care Unit – Part-time
In this unique Senior Dietitian role, you will be responsible for the leadership, continued development and provision of nutrition services for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Alfred Health. The Alfred ICU is one of Australia’s leading ICUs, with 60 beds and provides a number of state‑wide services including trauma, burns, extracorporeal membrane oxygen, and hyperbaric medicine. Clinical expertise in critical care nutrition management, strong collaboration and leadership skills and a proven track record of coordinating research and quality initiatives are key aspects of this role.
Skills And Qualifications Required
* Strong clinical skills in nutrition support and experience working across inpatient and outpatient services
* Excellent communication skills, ability to lead a team, and proficiency in nutrition education and capability development
* Demonstrated leadership in research, continuous quality improvement and service development
* Possesses qualifications providing eligibility for full membership of Dietitians’ Australia (DA) and participation in the APD program
* 10 years post‑graduate experience, including at least 7 years' experience in critical care nutrition management
* Post graduate qualification in or progressing toward one in Health Management, Public Health, Research or Clinical Education
