We're looking for an experienced IT Financial Management Lead to join a team focused on strategic IT governance and financial management. This role is critical in ensuring strong financial oversight across the IT division.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, manage and monitor IT budgets aligned with organisational priorities.
* Prepare financial forecasts and lead the annual budget build and mid-year review processes.
* Track and report IT expenditure, identifying risks and opportunities for cost optimisation.
* Implement governance controls to ensure cost-effectiveness and value for money.
* Leverage FinOps capabilities to manage cloud costs and maximise returns on digital investments.
* Deliver financial presentations and analysis to senior executives and governance committees.
* Consolidate and analyse financial data to support strategic decision-making.
* Optimise licensing and maintenance fees through vendor consolidation and renegotiation.
* Support procurement activities with financial insights and recommendations.
* Collaborate with program finance teams and enabling groups to progress critical financial activities.
About You
* Strong background in IT financial management, budgeting and forecasting.
* Proven ability to implement governance frameworks and cost optimisation strategies.
* Skilled in financial analysis, reporting and stakeholder engagement.
* Experience with FinOps and cloud cost management highly desirable.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
