As a full-time, permanent employee, you will work 38 hours per week with the potential for overtime and weekend work on rotation. We see our staff, customers, and clients as part of our family- with generations working alongside each other towards a positive future. The Role We are seeking a self-motivated hands-on Primary Products Inspector to join our team in a dynamic, fast paced fruit processing environment.
* Full-time position.
* Located at 208 Rowley Road Myponga SA and 376A Lobethal Road Ashton SA 5137.
* Must be available to work weekends when required.
Primary Purpose / Duties
* Picking of fruit using a bike/cart or ladders.
* Packing of fruit in accordance with quality standards.
* Stacking of crates/cartons onto pallets in coolroom environment.
* Labelling and organisation of packaging.
* Weeding, planting, and other general farm/crop maintenance.
* Safe use of vehicles and material handling equipment where required (eg Tractor, Forklift, etc.).
* Cleanliness of workstations/trolleys, including any equipment used.
* Perform other duties as directed by management.
* Comply with company WH&S standards and policies.
All applicants must be physically able to carry out the required duties, this includes being able to stand for extended periods, lifting cartons, and repetitive physical tasks. Hourly pay and other employment conditions are in accordance with the Horticulture Award 2020. State date: October 2026.
Length of Employment: 9 months. Award : Horticulture Award 2020 Level 1 24.28 Level 1: Annual: $47,977 p.a Hourly rates: $24.28 p.h Level 2 24.95 Level 2: Annual: $49,301 p.a Hourly rates: $24.95 p.h Level 3 25.63 Level 3: Annual: $50,645 p.a Hourly rates: $25.63 p.h Level 4 26.55 Level 4: Annual: $52,463 p.a Hourly rates: $26.55 p.h Level 5 28.12 Level 5: Annual: $55,565 p.a Hourly rates: $28.12 p.h Available Positions: 100 Estimated Start Date: 04/06/2026 You may have the opportunity to progress through the above levels based on role availability, aptitude for the tasks, prior attendance and performance record.
To be successful, you must meet the following requirements: Australian Citizen / Permanent Residency / Full Working Rights in Australia are essential Pass a Pre-employment medical check including drug alcohol test Physical Stamina, Attention to detail, Strong Work Ethic and willing to work as part of a diverse team Willingness to work in hot and cold environments in a factory setting
