As we continue to expand our presence in the field of Unified Data Analytics and AI, we are seeking a creative, driven, and execution-oriented Emerging Enterprise Account Executive to sell to the Australian market and capitalize on the significant market opportunity for Databricks today.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Emerging Enterprise Account Executive will have experience selling in the Australian market. You should be a proactive hunter with excellent prospecting skills and a passion for acquiring new logos. Your informed perspective on Big Data and Advanced Analytics will guide your sales strategy, enabling you to deliver value to our largest and most valued customers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Evangelize Databricks' Unified Analytics Platform powered by Spark and promote the Databricks brand across all industries within Enterprise Accounts.
2. Identify, prospect, and source new sales opportunities, building your pipeline both independently and with the support of the Databricks SDR team.
3. Engage with business and technical decision-makers, guiding them through the evaluation and purchasing process.
4. Meet and exceed individual activity, pipeline, and annual revenue targets.
5. Collaborate with local partners such as technology partners, ISVs, SIs, and GSIs to drive business growth.
6. Ensure customer success and pursue upselling opportunities within existing accounts.
7. Develop a Territory Strategy focused on Australia across various industries.
Candidate Profile
* 1-2 years of closing experience selling SaaS solutions to Commercial, Enterprise, and Digital Native Customers in Australia.
* Proven success in Emerging Enterprise or Commercial Sales roles, preferably in Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS technology.
* Experience in selling innovative solutions, particularly in Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS sectors.
* Solution-oriented sales approach with a focus on business outcomes (e.g., Command of the Message, MEDDPIC, Challenger Sale).
* Ability to clearly articulate complex cloud and big data technologies and their business value.
