By utilizing South Australia's superior agriculture and raw materials, we supply nutritious, high-quality food to the Australian market and key overseas customers in China, Japan, and Southeast Asia. Morris is not only a producer of its own food products but also holds full certification for contract manufacturing of premium Australian food products for clients. We offer clients complete one-stop services, from concept to export, including brand planning, product development, and packaging design. To strategically manage our growing export operations and increase efficiency, we are now recruiting a dedicated Exporter. This role is pivotal in scaling our international business and managing all exporting activities.
Responsibilities
· Identify viable business opportunities and establish reliable business networks in international markets.
· Determine product assortment, negotiate trading terms, and manage order communications with overseas buyers.
· Oversee the complete export lifecycle by coordinating all parties involved, including international buyers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
· Ensure full compliance by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the regulatory and statutory import/export requirements for relevant countries.
· Prepare, verify, and process all required customs and regulatory documentation, such as commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and customs declarations.
· Manage logistics coordination—including shipping, freight forwarding, and transportation—to guarantee the punctual and precise delivery of goods.
· Monitor and control export costs, oversee buyer payments and ensure the accurate settlement of taxes and other applicable charges.
· Develop and nurture strong, productive relationships with quality foreign buyers, employing effective communication to resolve issues and enhance operational efficiency.
· Anticipate and address regulatory and market risks within global trade by devising and implementing strategic countermeasures.
· Monitor export-related business performance, providing actionable feedback and improvement plans to management.
· Continuously stay informed on international market trends and technological advancements.
Qualifications, Skills and Work experience requirements
· Requirement of a Bachelor or Higher degree.
· Minimum of three years of demonstrated experience in import/export operations and logistics management at a related senior role.
· Established and valuable relationships and direct, hands-on experience in managing international import/export processes.
· Strong working knowledge of international trade laws, tariffs, global shipping procedures, and customs compliance requirements.
· Proficient in utilizing computerized tools and software to enhance work efficiency, facilitate data analysis, and support the development and execution of strategic plans.
· Strong adaptabilities of changing business environments and countries laws.
· Bilingual or multilingual is preferred.
· Excellent communication abilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
