The Graduate Research & Research Culture unit sits within UOW's Research & Innovation portfolio and plays a central role in supporting the University's world class research environment. As part of a globally recognised institution, the unit provides comprehensive, end to end support for Higher Degree by Research (HDR) candidates—from initial inquiry through to graduation and career transition. It also serves as the University's hub for research ethics, integrity, and compliance, ensuring consistent governance and high quality support across the research ecosystem. This centralised model enables excellence in research practice while strengthening UOW's reputation for integrity, rigour, and impactful outcomes.
The Graduate Research Intern Placement Administrator provides essential coordination and administrative support for UOW's HDR internship program, ensuring smooth, accurate, and compliant delivery of internship activities. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, the role supports eligibility assessments, manages pre placement requirements, processes financial transactions, and maintains accurate records within University systems. This position offers valuable exposure to research administration, student lifecycle processes, and stakeholder engagement, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in detail oriented coordination work and enjoys supporting students and staff within a research focused environment.
