The Civil Maintenance team is looking for a skilled team member within our concrete and sealed road team to assist with delivering our sealed roads works maintenance programs.
About the Position
Reporting to the Team Coordinator you will be responsible for the undertaking of a broad range of civil maintenance works on council owned assets including but not limited to our sealed road network. The work will predominantly involve working with our Flocon and Jetpatcher team completing heavy patching and spray seal repairs.
About You
The successful candidate will have a clear understanding of Civil Maintenance related projects with the ability to mentor and assist others in delivering programs. You will possess broad experience within the civil industry, with excellent customer service skills and the capability to prioritise demanding workloads.
Being a team player with good interpersonal skills, coupled with an ability to influence people by challenging the way things are done and leading by example, will be essential for your success in this role. You will be self-motivated, like keeping busy, willing to try something new and be part of a dynamic team that are working towards a new way of delivering civil maintenance work, refining and developing works programs.
Key Selection Criteria
1. Sealed road maintenance and operating associated equipment.
2. Extensive experience in civil maintenance activities and practices.
3. Reading and interpreting plans and specifications.
4. Strong customer service focus and commitment to quality customer service.
