Come and join our expert team of surgeons, specialist doctors, dedicated nurses and allied health professionals at Newcastle Private Hospital. We are an 11 Theatre, 189 bed acute private hospital facility co-located on the John Hunter Campus at Rankin Park.
Newcastle Private provides specialty care for individuals and their families/carers undergoing all aspects of treatment and care across our Same-day and inpatient stay facilities.
The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate the following:
· Previous supply experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
· Experience in a computerised inventory management system (i.e. Technology One)
· The capability to work in all areas of supply including ordering and receipting of medical goods, inventory management as well as management of hospital imprest levels in collaboration with unit managers
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with internal hospital staff and external suppliers.
· High level organisation and time management skills
· Strong attention to detail
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Skills and motivation to ensure excellence in customer service
· The ability to always act in a professional manner when dealing with both internal customers, external suppliers, and other key stakeholders within the organisation
· The ability to maintain safety standards and adhere to guidelines, policies, and procedures
· Demonstrated commitment to adhering to workplace health safety standards.
