We are a growing and reputable electrical contractor delivering high-quality commercial projects across Sydney and the Illawarra region. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Leading Hand Commercial Electrician to join our team and help drive project delivery, quality, and safety on site.
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership position suited to a motivated electrician who enjoys running jobs, coordinating teams, and maintaining strong client relationships. You will work closely with project managers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise site electricians and apprentices
* Interpret drawings, specifications, and project documentation
* Coordinate materials, scheduling, and site logistics
* Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical regulations
* Liaise with builders, clients, and other trades on site
* Maintain high workmanship standards and productivity
What We're Looking For
* NSW Electrical Licence (essential)
* Proven experience in commercial electrical projects
* Previous Leading Hand or supervisory experience preferred
* Strong knowledge of Australian standards and site safety practices
* Ability to read plans and manage small teams effectively
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* White Card and driver's licence required
