We are partnering with a leading construction company delivering projects for the Australian Department of Defence, seeking experienced Site Managers to join their team. This is a site-based role located in Richmond, NSW, offering an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile Defence construction projects, including the multi-millions RAAF Richmond project with significant scope in electrical upgrades and other infrastructure.
Defence experience is preferred, and candidates with electrical infrastructure experience will also be strongly considered.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage all construction activities on Defence projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
* Lead site teams, subcontractors, and trades while maintaining compliance with stringent Defence and WHS requirements.
* Coordinate site logistics, programs, and scheduling from mobilisation to handover.
* Liaise with stakeholders, consultants, and internal teams to ensure timely project delivery.
* Monitor progress, conduct inspections, and manage reporting and documentation.
Requirements
* Proven experience on Defence construction projects for the Australian Department of Defence.
* Previous experience as a Site Manager or Site Foreman in commercial or industrial construction.
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Experience with electrical infrastructure or services is highly regarded.
* Ability to work on-site in Richmond, NSW, and manage multiple stakeholders.
* Full Australian working rights.
