What You'll Be Doing

We are seeking an innovative, skilled, and committed Social Worker, Psychologist, or Counsellor to join the Violence, Abuse, and Neglect (VAN) team at Inverell Community Health Centre. Your responsibilities include:

* Delivering the NSW Health Sexual Assault and Child Protection Counselling Services across Inverell, Tingha, Glen Innes, Warialda, Ashford, and Tenterfield.
* Conducting psycho-social assessments, developing and coordinating case plans tailored to individual client needs.
* Working closely with other services to ensure holistic care and intervention.
* Participating in regular professional supervision and contributing to the ongoing development of your discipline's professional network.
* Engaging in relevant education and training opportunities to maintain and grow your expertise.

You will receive strong support and guidance, including access to ongoing training, supervision, and connections with professional peers across the district.


Requirements

* Hold a qualification in Psychology, Social Work, or Counselling that provides eligibility or membership of the relevant professional association, or provisional or general registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
* Current unrestricted NSW Driver's Licence and ability to travel as part of the role within an outreach capacity.
* Australian Citizen, permanent resident of Australia, New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or holder of a visa that allows you to live and work in Australia. Temporary visa holders will only be considered in line with the conditions and expiry date of their visa.
