**The Opportunity**
You will be responsible for planning and delivering culturally tailored workshops, programs, and activities. You will focus on cultivating meaningful relationships with Pasifika communities, including high school students, their families, and community leaders, to promote educational opportunities across all community segments. You will utilise exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills to provide advice on educational pathways and create a supportive environment that encourages aspirations for tertiary education. Additionally, you will collaborate with campus-based Regional Engagement Coordinators and other Widening Participation team members to ensure outreach strategies are inclusive, impactful, and specifically tailored to the needs of Pasifika communities.

**You will**
- plan, coordinate, and deliver workshops and programs focused on Pasifika school and community engagement, highlighting career development and access to tertiary pathways for prospective students;
- design and tailor workshop and other content to ensure activities are culturally appropriate, effective and resonate with Pasifika values and aspirations;
- provide culturally responsive advice and information on university pathways and opportunities to Pasifika students and communities; and
- build and nurture partnerships with Pasifika community groups, leaders, and schools to promote aspirations for further education.
**About you**
Success in this role will be driven by your exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building abilities. Strong public speaking, facilitation, and written communication skills are essential, alongside a keen attention to detail in organisational and program/event management. Your ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and engage diverse audiences will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth execution of initiatives.
**You will possess**:
- A relevant degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Demonstrated experience working with Pasifika communities, including an understanding of cultural protocols and values.
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity, particularly in engaging with diverse communities.
