**The Role**:
Reporting to the Global Head of Procurement and Logistics, The Logistics & Supply Chain Manager will take ownership of all Logistical matters for the company's different projects, ensuring timely and accurate shipments / deliveries.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring coordination of all the disciplines and subcontractors on site;
- Coordinating with the Construction Manager and Superintendents regarding resources on site;
- Coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure the proper delivery of materials on site (time and quality);
- Keeping the Project Team informed about the deliveries to site and arranging correct delivery and unloading at site using unloading options that are immediately available.
- Supervising and coordinating with customs agent, freight forwarders, customs authority and client to arrange material release and to avoid any delays or extra expenses.
- Supervising the invoices and cost control.
- Identifying and communicating any kind of incident that could mean a potential delay to the Project Director and possible actions to mitigate its consequences.
- Supervising the performance of the site storekeeper.
- Arranging damages reports and submissions to the insurance company.
- Meeting all project KPI's;
- In conjunction with the Construction Manager, monitoring and ensuring the supply of materials are maintained to meet project requirements and any materials lost in damages are replaced; and
- Coordinating with H&S Manager to ensure the facilities for the staff and laborer's are appropriate as per law and planning.
