**Objective**
The Piling Site Foreman / Supervisor is responsible for the control and management of piling works on all sites. To organise, coordinate and implement works, machinery, equipment and all personnel on sites.
Inspect and supervise all works to ensure a high standard of workmanship is achieved.
**Responsibilities**:
- Organise, coordinate and implement piling works
- Day to day running of work site/s as directed by Construction Manager or Director
- Be able to read and understand design plans and drawings and be able to set out piling works on site
- Supervise and direct all staff (including Operators and labourers and clients or other contractors) whilst on site/s
- Ensure all works are undertaken efficiently and with the utmost consideration to safety.
- Liaise with Clients as necessary whilst on site
- Demonstrated ability to manage time including setting priorities, planning and organising ones and others work to complete assigned tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to discus and resolve problems with contractors and clients.
- Ensure all staff time sheets are filled in correctly, authorised and submitted to the Finance Manager on a weekly basis.
- Ensure all piling records and all other project paperwork and forms are filled in correctly and signed by clients and submitted to office on a weekly basis
- Responsible for coordinating materials delivery
- Responsible for ordering materials/equipment as needed and with consideration to cost/budget
- Provide reports and recommendations to the Construction Manager and/or Director on all projects/sites.
- Ensure provisions of the WHS Act are observed at all times
- Assist in other duties as directed by Construction Manager and/or Director
- Ensure plant, equipment and work sites kept safe and clean at all times
**Health & Safety**
- Responsible for compliance with HSMS, for co-operation with H&S improvement strategies, for reporting of incidents or hazards identified in the course of work, for taking care of their own and others health & safety at work and for properly maintaining issued safety equipment.
- Authorised to make decisions to proceed or not with a work activity based on valid risk assessment and to control identified hazards wherever possible and report them to a supervisor whether controlled or not.
- Accountable for compliance with HSMS, the safety of their own workplace and work activities, participation in H&S training and activities, reporting all identified hazards and ensuring their activities do not cause injury to others
**Qualifications**:
- Previous supervisory experience within the construction industry essential
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of OH&S act and practises
- EWP, Dogman, Working at Heights, High Risk tickets all highly regarded
- White Card & Drivers license essential
