The Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced
Senior Estimator
to join our dynamic Queensland team. In this pivotal role, you will play an integral part in estimating, pricing, and preparing competitive tenders for landmark high‑voltage and renewable energy projects, contributing directly to CPP’s success in securing Australia’s most significant infrastructure works.
Reporting to the Bid Development Manager and working closely with key internal and external stakeholders including CPP’s multidisciplinary engineering and operations teams, vendors, and client, you will ensure all proposals meet technical, commercial, and client expectations.
Your ability to deliver accurate, timely bids will directly contribute to CPP’s continued success in securing landmark projects across Australia.
Desired Skills and Experience About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Demonstrated estimating/tendering expertise with the ability to manage multiple bids under tight deadlines.
Knowledge of high‑voltage, substation, balance of plant and transmission lines infrastructure is highly regarded.
An Electrical Trade background or tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering will be viewed favourably.
Strong contractual and commercial awareness.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
High attention to detail with a logical, solution‑focused approach.
Current Australian driver’s licence, with flexibility to travel as required.
