About the Role
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Trainee Personal Banking Consultant. This 12-month traineeship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop valuable skills, and receive professional support as you learn.
As a Trainee Personal Banking Consultant, you will work closely with our experienced team across the region, building your knowledge while helping customers achieve their financial goals.
This is a full-time contract position, based on a 38-hour work week. You will be based in one of our branches and support our region.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with customers
* Develop and maintain knowledge of banking products and services
* Work collaboratively with the team to achieve business objectives
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Exceptional communication and customer service skills
* A demonstrated ability to positively adapt to change
* The ability to quickly build rapport with people and work as a supportive team member
* Higher School Certificate or similar qualification
* FSRA ASIC Tier II Accreditation (within 5 years) (or the willingness to undertake it)
* Experience in a similar retail and customer service position (desirable)
* Previous cash handling experience (desirable)
* Proven sales experience (desirable)
