Northern Rivers In Home Care is a not for profit approved In Home Care Provider on the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers areas. In Home Child Care is an education funded by the Australian Government Department of Education. It is designed to help families who have no access to existing child care services or families whose circumstances mean that existing child care cannot meet their needs.

Position Details

• Shift worker family in Robina, Gold Coast. Mum is a nurse so requires care for afternoons/evenings, on average there will be 2 shifts a week.
• Children are 6 and 8 years old.
• Days and Hours: on average there will be two shifts a week consisting of 3.00pm-10.00pm.
• Start date: ASAP.
• Hourly rate: $35.00 per hour includes Superannuation.
• Job type: Part time.

Qualifications and Criteria

• Certificate III in Children's Services or working towards.
• 18 years old or older.
• Hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate – Childcare First Aid Training.
• Blue Card and Police Clearance.
• Liability insurance (once successfully placed with a family).
• Medical Clearance.
• Child Protection (refresher required every 2 years).
• ABN.
• Photo ID.
• PRODA RA (the office will assist you with this).
• Reliable car and driver's licence.

• Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care (required).
• HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting (required).
• HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (required).
• Blue Card (preferred).
