Due to ongoing growth and organisational transformation, this South Australian Government Department is seeking a skilled and experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join their team on a temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources professional to contribute during a pivotal period of progress and change, supporting strategic HR initiatives that shape the future of public service delivery.


Your new role


Your new role as the Human Resources Business Partner is to provide your expertise in completing employee and industrial investigations, providing disciplinary advice and assisting team leaders with the implementation of strategies and procedures. Through providing HR advice across dedicated business areas. This will enable you to drive this State Government Department to success.

We're looking for a versatile and experienced HRBP who can thrive in a dynamic, evolving government environment and confidently take ownership of the responsibilities outlined below:

* Build and maintain effective and collaborative business partnerships and relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
* Contribute and support execution of the design, development, implementation and review of Human Resources strategies, policies and programs across the organisation.
* Develop, regulate and implement HR Policies and Procedures as required.
* Maintain up to date knowledge of contemporary Human Resource development, initiatives and methodologies, evolving legislative requirements and industry and best practice trends.
* Provide support on probation review and performance review processes.
* Liaise with team leaders and key stakeholders to provide generalist advice and support on HR/ ER/ IR related matters.


What you'll need to succeed


As the ideal candidate you will demonstrate a proven ability to deliver across all facets of the HR Business Partner role, providing strategic and operational support during a period of exciting organisational change. Your strong expertise in industrial and employee relations will be key to navigating complex workforce matters and contributing to positive outcomes. Your adaptability, professionalism, and sound judgement will also allow you to play a pivotal role in shaping workforce outcomes.
