Support Worker Position Description:
This position involves providing individualized support and care to participants with day-to-day activities. The successful candidate will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure participants receive the best possible care.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide emotional support and guidance to participants to enhance their independence and confidence.
* Assist with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Prepare meals and assist with household chores such as laundry and cleaning.
* Take participants on outings and engage them in recreational activities.
* Monitor and report any changes in participants' physical or mental health to healthcare professionals.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Diploma or certificate in disability support or a related field.
* Two years' experience working in a similar role.
* Current first aid and CPR certification.
