A well-established national wholesale/FMCG business is seeking a skilled and experienced finance professional to join their tight-knit team as an Assistant Accountant/Bookkeeper. Job Description
This full-time position involves a range of key responsibilities including Accounts Payable/Receivable, Journal Entries, Business Activity Statements, Accruals, Invoice Processing, General Ledger and Balance Sheet reconciliations, Credit Claims, FBT processing, Bank and Account Reconciliations, End of Month Reporting, and other ad-hoc tasks as required by the Accountant.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a tertiary qualified Accounts Officer, Bookkeeper or hold part or full CA/CPA qualification as an Assistant Accountant. They will have a minimum 3+ years' experience across the main accounting functions in AP/AR, G/L Recs, B/S Recs, accruals and journals, preferably in a hands-on role for a medium to large organisation.
