Short Description: Looking for Cloud and Infrastructure Support Lead
Location: Melbourne, Australia
Salary range: AUD 108,571- 119,893 (Annual Gross)
Key Responsibilities/Skills for AWS | AD | Windows Server Admin:
* Lead and manage the AWS support team, ensuring effective monitoring, incident response, troubleshooting, and problem management.
* Provide hands-on technical support for AWS infrastructure.
* Develop, manage, and troubleshoot AWS CloudFormation templates.
* Use tools like AWS Cost Explorer, AWS Budgets, and third-party tools to track.
* Collaborate with application teams and leadership to forecast cloud spend and ensure costs align with budgets.
* Develop & maintain runbooks, playbooks, and incident response processes.
* Collaborate with development, architecture, and security teams to support deployments and design scalable, cost-effective infrastructure solutions.
* Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to automate.
* Directory Access Management | OU Management-Create/delete/delegate.
* Group policy (GPO) administration, troubleshooting, and management.
* Configure/troubleshoot Backup/recovery of directory objects.
* Troubleshoot connectivity/replication/performance issues/or any AD related.
* Domain controllers | Incident Management | Windows patch management.
* Directory Identity & Access management.
* Active Directory Technologies | Microsoft Identity Manager.
* Active Directory Federation Services (3.0 and 4.0), | PowerShell skills.
* DFS monitoring and addition/removal of replication partners.
* EV Cloud Sync management with on-prem AD | Knowledge on AD Connect.
* Assessing the stability, security, and scalability of installed Windows systems.
* Troubleshooting system and server errors | VMware platform is preferred.
* Should have knowledge of VM creation and managing VMs.
* Windows server setup, deployment, ESXI upgrade and patch management.
* Microsoft Failover Clustering, patch management.
* Knowledge of Antivirus and data backup is preferred, Excellent problem-solving.
* Good analytical and communication skills, Understanding of Storage technologies.
Key Requirements:
Experience:
* 6 - 8 years of total IT experience, including significant experience managing and supporting large-scale AWS environments.
* Min 2+ years of experience in managing a cloud support or infrastructure team.
Technical Skills:
* Proficiency in AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
* Infrastructure-as-code tools such as CloudFormation and Terraform.
* Strong understanding of networking, security, and automation within AWS.
* Knowledge of Active Directory integration and management.
* Expertise in AWS security capabilities and compliance standards.
* Experience with database design and management on AWS.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
* AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator are highly desirable.
* Formal training or certifications in ITIL processes, Cloud Financial Management (CFM), or cloud cost optimization is a plus.

* Excellent customer facing skills.
* Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
