Water and Sewer Operations Lead
About the Role
This is a mid-senior level position that requires the successful candidate to have strong operational and maintenance skills, particularly in the water supply and sewerage systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise the operations and maintenance of water supply and sewerage systems within legislative requirements and industry standards.
* Manage and mentor a team of water and sewer operators, providing ongoing performance feedback and development opportunities.
* Support the implementation and review of organizational systems, including drinking water management, dam safety management, and wastewater quality management.
* Responsible for onsite operations, scheduled preventive maintenance, and reactive maintenance as assigned to sewage process facilities and water supply process facilities.
* Comply with regulatory requirements, including onsite monitoring, inspection, and reporting.
* Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders regarding capital and operational projects.
* Deliver operational and maintenance scheduling of fleet and equipment used by the team.
* Participate in on-call roster for operational duties.
* Promote and demonstrate core values and behavioral requirements of the workplace environment statement.
