About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager for a fixed-term 12-month contract to join our Bunnings Digital team.
Role Overview:
Product Managers in the Bunnings Digital team work cross-functionally across the entire business to determine and drive practices that lead to valuable products. The core responsibility is to possess knowledge of technology and customer insights to inform solutions and decision-making.
Led by the Senior Manager of Product, this role involves inspiring a team of engineers, designers, and analysts on the strategic journey of their product stream, with a passion for product management, the customer, and building better products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyze market context, competitive trends, and repositioning strategies to evolve existing product strategies
* Demonstrate strong financial understanding to assess market and commercial impacts
* Identify and validate new product opportunities
* Define and manage delivery of new features in collaboration with designers, delivery leads, and agile teams
* Manage complex stakeholder relationships across functions and businesses
* Leverage platform features to grow audience and conversions
* Drive go-to-market activities for product launches
* Maximize product performance to enhance engagement and satisfaction
* Develop and maintain performance reports and dashboards
* Establish business and marketing objectives, including product adoption and customer satisfaction
* Advocate for customer needs and communicate effectively across teams
Ideal Candidate:
The candidate should be customer-focused with proven experience in agile delivery and design teams. Strong stakeholder management skills are essential, with the ability to adapt communication styles when engaging with senior leaders. Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and capable of dissecting complex customer and technical problems while translating data into insights are key qualities.
Requirements:
* Tertiary Degree in Marketing, Commerce, Design, or Computer Science
* Experience in a digital environment
* Proven product management or equivalent experience
* Experience in strategy, roadmapping, and execution
* Knowledge of agile best practices
* Ability to use industry data to inform decisions
* Leadership experience in delivery and design teams
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
