Due to continued growth, we are seeking a General Accountant to join our Head Office Finance Team based in Riverwood.
Reporting directly to the Senior Financial Accountant, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced accounting professional looking to take the next step in a fast paced national business.
Key Responsibilities
Maintaining accurate supplier and expense records
Performing expense analysis and preparing management reports
Assisting with month end processes and reconciliations
Maintaining the general ledger and preparing adjusting journals
Supporting management accounting, budgeting and bank reporting
Building strong working relationships with Store Managers and BDMs
Assisting the CFO and Finance Manager with ad hoc financial tasks and projects
About You
You will bring:
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar accounting role
A Degree in Accounting and CPA/CA qualification (or currently studying)
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Advanced Excel skills with excellent attention to details
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills (must)
Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise in a fast paced environment
