Senior Mathematics Teacher – Wheelers Hill Campus
We are looking for a highly qualified classroom teacher to join our Mathematics Faculty at our Wheelers Hill Campus on a full‐time basis on a fixed‐term contract from 2 March 2025 – 26 June 2026.
Key Duties
* Evaluate students' skills to create a flexible, individualized curriculum in Mathematics that addresses their specific needs and goals.
* Implement learning programmes based on research into how students learn, using formative assessment techniques to adjust instruction and enhance engagement and understanding.
* Continuously refine teaching strategies and activities using student feedback and assessment data to improve lesson plans and delivery.
* Set high expectations to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom culture, fostering creativity and problem‐solving.
* Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours.
Skills & Experience
* Demonstrated experience teaching Mathematics at Years 7‐11.
* Genuine enthusiasm for teaching and commitment to students' academic and personal growth.
* Outstanding communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
* Committed to ongoing professional development, keeping up to date with current trends in Mathematics and Science and maintaining a proactive attitude.
* Holds a teaching qualification with specialised qualifications in Mathematics and current VIT registration.
* Experience with the MYP (IB Middle Years Programme) is desirable.
