About The Role
An opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated Storeperson to assist in the operations of our Stores area. The duties and responsibilities of this position may involve manual handling and include but not limited to:
* Receive, store and distribute food, beverage and general products for the Institute;
* Quality assurance and accuracy of orders received before dispatch;
* Process back orders;
* Maintain stock items using the FIFO process;
* Provide excellent customer service (face to face and phone);
* Maintaining and housekeeping of work and storage area; and
* Conduct regular stocktakes.

Key Selection Critieria
* Completion of a relevant trade certificate or Year 12 with demonstrated relevant experience or, equivalent relevant experience and knowledge.
* Demonstrated knowledge of identification, storage and use of fresh, perishable, packaged and processed food and beverage and distribution.
* Previous experience and knowledge of stock inventory control systems, preferably Check SCM.
* Have a current Food Handlers Certificate or be willing to obtain the certificate.
* A strong commitment to safe work practices and maintaining a safe work environment.
* Ability to work well in a team environment and take directions in a safe and responsible manner.
* Ability to understand detailed instructions with attention to detail and work from procedures and be able to work autonomously from time to time.
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
* Demonstrated behaviours that align with the William Angliss Institute Values.
