Our Client
Our client is a well-established, reputable gold producer who is currently seeking an experienced Storeperson to work in their warehouse at their Kalgoorlie operations.
The Role
Our client is currently seeking a Storeperson for a rolling stocktake and to support the warehouse operations. This role involves physical inventory counting with high-volume data entry ensuring the site's Warehouse Management System (WMS) accurately reflects physical stock on hand.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct precise physical counts of all warehouse stock, including mining parts, consumables, and tools through physical auditing
* Accurately input count data into the inventory management system Pronto
* Identify and investigate variances between physical counts and system records; report significant errors for discrepancy resolution
* Ensure all items are correctly labelled with SKUs and stored in their designated bin locations by labelling and effective location management
* Maintain clean and organised records and documentation of all stocktake sheets and audit trails
* Adhere to all site safety protocols and participate in daily pre-start meetings ensuring safety compliance at all times
* Use of forklift to move stock during counts
Key Requirements
* Residency: Must be a current Kalgoorlie resident (DIDO only) as this is not a camp based position
* Current WA 'C' Class Manual Driver's Licence
* Current High Risk Work Licence (LF) Forklift
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and reporting
* Demonstrated experience with Pronto
* Previous experience in mining and a similar role
* Current National Police clearance
This role requires someone who has exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
