Marshall Beattie Automation is an established and growing company specialising in the design, installation, repair and servicing of automatic gates, automatic doors and associated access control equipment. We focus primarily on the commercial and industrial sectors across Perth and wider WA. Based in Belmont, our team includes qualified electricians, engineers and skilled tradespeople, fully supported by our sales, operations and administration team.
About the Role
We're looking for a driven and technically minded full-time Technical Sales Representative to join our busy electrical contracting business. You'll work closely with our team, end users, project managers and facility managers to provide tailored solutions for new installations, repair works and preventative maintenance. Existing client base, no cold calling required.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare quotes, proposals, and tender submissions.
* Provide technical advice on the products and systems we sell. Including technical guidance, product selection assistance, and troubleshooting.
* Liaise with clients, project managers, and fellow staff to achieve desired outcomes.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customers, sites, assets and sales activities in the CRM system.
* Develop and maintain an established client base, as well as to identify and grow new business opportunities.
* Reporting directly to the Sales & Operations Manager.
Key Requirements
* A good understanding of the building industry.
* Strong understanding of electrical systems and principles.
* Proven sales experience within the industry or exposure to industrial, mechanical, electrical or technical products.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* Valid Driver's Licence and willingness to travel to site meetings when needed.
* A knowledge of the SIMPRO package would be an advantage, but full on the job training will be provided.
